This is a legal document so please read carefully.

1) I understand that the Rail Trail Fun Run involves the potential risk of serious injury or even death from associated factors such as over-exertion, dehydration, weather conditions and other causes.

2) I understand that I should not compete in this event if I have not undertaken adequate training and sought the advice of a medical practitioner.

3) By signing this form I accept all risks resulting from my participation of this event. This release and indemnity forever binds my heirs, executors, personal representatives and assigns.

4) I consent to receiving medical treatment, including ambulance transportation, race organisers deem necessary during or after the event.

5) I consent to race organisers using my likeness before, during or after the event for promotional purposes in any media.

6) I am aware that the compulsory insurance covering this event does not cover any illness, injury or damage sustained by me.

7) I acknowledge that precautions undertaken by race organisers are a service to me and other competitors and are not a guarantee of safety.

8) I am fully responsible for the security of my personal possessions at the event.

9) My registration is not transferable to other people. If I am unable to compete for any reason, my entry fee is non-refundable.

10) I agree to abide by all race rules and directions issued by race organisers.

11) I understand that race organisers may change the format, course or other race conditions at their discretion. If that occurs, this agreement applies to the new conditions.

In consideration of my acceptance of entry into the Rail Trail Fun Run, Sunday 11 July 2010, I will indemnify and will keep indemnified all people and co-operations associated with the organisation of this event.
