Somerset Regional Council invites you to take part in the 6th annual Rail Trail Fun Run on Sunday 13 July 2008. With the continued support of major sponsors SPAR Supermarket Lowood and Harcourts Fernvale this year’s event will be the most fun yet!
The Rail Trail Fun Run is ideally positioned on the fun run calendar as a great way to shake off any lingering soreness from the Gold Coast Marathon the week before or as a training run for the Park 2 Park being held in Ipswich at the end of July.
With only gentle undulations the trail is perfect for seasoned runners, walkers and parents with strollers. Forming part of the Active & Healthy Somerset program, the emphasis of this event is family fun with runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels encouraged to participate.
