On Sunday 12 July 2009, Somerset Regional Council will host the 7^th annual Rail Trail Fun Run, starting in Lowood and finishing in Fernvale.  Council are delighted to announce Supa IGA Lowood as a major sponsor of the event for the next two years. 

Again consisting of two distances – 8.3km and 3km – this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever with both races due to start at 9:00am.  With all the usual post-race entertainment on offer afterwards, this will be a great day for the whole family!

Delicious Buffet Breakfast!!
After the run, Somerset Regional Council will be hosting a buffet breakfast provided by Figjam Deli Café.  This feast will be served under a giant marquee in seated comfort.  For $20 per adult and $10 per child you can enjoy a hearty Sunday morning breakfast.  If you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing Figjam’s spectacular food you’ll know this an opportunity not to be missed.  If you wish to join us for this delicious brekky, simply tick the box on the entry form and adjust your payment amount accordingly.  Click here for menu
